Mary B. Dovie brings a personal invitation to the reader directly from the Throne of God. Learn the plans of God to tear down our high places of rebellion, self-sufficiency, fickleness, and stubbornness so that we can ascend to a higher place in Him. Changing priorities is a necessary step for every believer. In A Higher Place in Him Mary B. Dovie takes the theory and translates it into practical, timely wisdom for the Christian today. Drawn extensively from the full canon of Scripture, A Higher Place in Him leads the reader to: admit a need for Him submit to His Word in all areas of life and to commit to follow Him, no matter where he leads. As the representative of the Lord in a secular society, the Christian is directed to do the work of the Father in a lost and hurting world. But he cannot be truly effective until he replaces the high places of his own life with a higher place in Him. This is a process requiring time and patience. But the Lord will honor persistence. Ascend to a higher place in Him, then gain the confidence to face every situation, to obey in all things, and to follow where He leads.
