Connexion places readers on an adventure that will bring joy, intimacy, and passion back into their prayer life. Author Jeanette Storms expounds upon her notion of deeper relationship with God through active, involved prayer habits, which she terms relational prayer. Readers will explore the language and principles of effective prayer and receive an increased level of confidence and authority in their prayer lives. Her book’s message is presented to the reader against the backdrop of her missions experiences, primarily those in Japan.
Prior to joining the faculty at The King’s College and Seminary to teach, Jeanette Storms served as a missionary in Mexico, Zambia, Japan, and London for 16 years. In London she founded Agape Christian Fellowship and served as its pastor for seven years. While teaching at King’s, Jeanette lead prayer journeys during the summers to France, Italy, England, and the Netherlands. She founded the peer-mentoring ministry Sojourners, which centered on spiritual direction and growth. Now Jeanette has a new ministry as founder of For the Nations, which will focus on prayer journeys to countries that desperately need spiritual revitalization, particularly those in Europe.
