          Messianic Message

This is my first time reading a book by Rabbi Schneider. I finished the book in 24 hours. I felt it was good from a Messianic Jewish perspective. I love his testimony. I feel that I am a bit more advanced than most Christians, so I think I was expecting something more that I cannot put my finger on. However, overall, this book is great. The reason I bought this book was because God has drawn me (a Gentile) into Shabbat and kashering so one thing I did not agree with was his negativity towards Gentiles who feel Jewish. Rabbi Schneider can only speak from a Jewish perspective, but cannot speak for the Gentile whom Jesus is making one with the Jew. Therefore, to say we (who are born again) are not even spiritually Jewish, is like saying we are not adopted, and disregarding God’s move in our lives by making us love the Jews and embrace what we couldn’t see in the New Testament because of our Gentile eyes. Many are not there yet, but don’t despise it when you see it happening. Even so, the Rabbi seems pretty cool and eager. I hope we meet one day. God bless him.
